Medical Rescue’s clinical practice is a recognised clinical practice registered with Medicare Australia and the Accident Compensation Corporation in New Zealand. The practice is unique in that it is truly multidisciplinary employing the right people with the right expertise for the right roles. The clinical team is comprised of emergency and critical care trained doctors, nurses, and intensive care paramedics with a high level of emergency specialist clinical governance.
Our clinical personnel are supported by our highly experienced team of Air Ambulance operations staff and consultant duty doctors who all hold fellowship to the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine and are available 24/7, 365 days per year to provide support to our clinicians no matter where they are.
The practice operates under a high level of clinical governance and audit allocating defined scopes of practice to its clinical staff in accordance with doccumented Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) and provides ongoing continuing professional development programmes to clinicians.
In addition Medical Rescue holds accreditation for special skills training in Pre Hospital and Retrieval Medicine for advanced trainees with the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine. Registrars are supported by our Emergency Medicine Specialists.

The practice also holds and maintains all necessary medical indemnity insurances and state poisons licences for every location we operate in and has been granted approval to provide Private Paramedic Services in Queensland which requires a demonstrated high level of clinical governance, protocol, supervision and training for all clinical staff.
