Medical Rescue has ongoing positions for Fly in Fly Out (FIFO) Paramedics & Nurses across various projects including Snowy Hydro 2.0 in the NSW Snowy Mountains, Australian Defence Force training exercises, Oil / Gas / Mining sites along with other private clients.

Rosters are generally 14 days on with 13 or 14 days off, pending project and location. All travel and accommodation are included in the package.

Minimum Skills / Qualifications

Graduate Paramedic / Nurse:

• Current registration with AHPRA and be in good-standing.
• National Police Check (within 3 months)

Registered Nurse

• Current registration with AHPRA and be in good-standing.
• National Police Check (within 3 months)
• Minimum 3 Years post grad experience with at least 12 months within an Emergency Department or ICU Setting

Advanced Care Paramedic

• Current registration with AHPRA and be in good-standing.
• National Police Check (within 3 months)
• Minimum 3 Years post grad experience with a state ambulance service

Intensive Care Paramedic

• Current registration with AHPRA and be in good-standing.
• National Police Check (within 3 months)
• Minimum five years’ experience with a state ambulance service coupled with intensive care level operations.
• Post graduate studies in Intensive/Critical Care Paramedicine

Mandatory for All Positions

• Drug and Alcohol Testing (HLTPAT005).
• Current construction white card
• 4WD Driver Training Qualification
• Current ALS certificate
