Alpine Medical Teams 2019

Medical Rescue is seeking expressions of interest to join our Australian and New Zealand alpine medical teams for the 2019 ski season

Medical teams are based at  Treble Cone, Mt Hutt, Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and Mount Buller. These positions are full-time from June through until October.

As these are highly sought positions we are taking expressions of interest and will contact all those who register with more information in December. Please do not contact us in the interim requesting information.

Please note  we are seeking expressions of interest from Doctors & Nurses. There are no positions for Paramedics, Physiotherapists or medical elective students so please do not apply.

Doctors

Desirable

PGY4+ with experience in Emergency Medicine

Emergency/GP Experience

Emergency/ Anaesthetics /ACRRM Registrar experience or Fellowship is an advantage

Doctors must be currently registered with AHPRA or MCNZ or  have the ability to obtain AHPRA registration prior to commencement. Employer Sponsorship for overseas trained doctors outside of NZ, Australia or UK is not available.

Nurses

Essential

Post graduate experience in the emergency setting

Current AHPRA or NZ registration

Desirable

Experience in working in a remote setting

Working in small teams with limited supervision
