Our Doctors work part of a multidisciplinary team working collaboratively to deliver medical and surgical interventions in the out of hospital environment and during inter-hospital patient transfers. Our operational environments are complex and require a high level of skill, knowledge, flexibility and co-ordination to deliver our services safely and effectively. Our Doctors are required to work in, at times, hazardous and remote environments with minimal support to deliver patient assessment, out of hospital care and transfer of patients. All of our clinicians are supported by 24/7 Telemedicine support from our consultant emergency and specialist physicians.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must possess:
Consultant Qualification with one of the following Colleges;
- ACEM
- ANZCA
- CICM
- ACRRM
or
Advanced Trainee 2 or Advanced Trainee 3 with a minimum
- 18 Months ED
- 6 Months ICU
- 6 Months Anaesthetics
- 6 Months Paeds
Desirable
- EMST
- Helicopter Underwater Escaper Training (HUET)
- ALS2 current
